“Surfrider Foundation Miami and the Miami Surf Archive Project are partnering up to bring you another exciting event of surf, music, and fun.
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, we will be hosting the premier of Rumors: a Cinematographic journey into Mexico’s deepest surf scene.
Also on the big screen we will be projecting rare, vintage surf footage from 1970s Miami Beach, courtesy of filmmaker Bruce Walker.
The evenings activities will include music by Mike Maytin, a prize raffle, sponsored drinks, food trucks, and various multi-media stations depicting Miami’s surf history.
We will also be announcing the launch of the Bimini-Miami Blue Water Challenge - a never attempted 40-mile plus SUP crossing from Bimini to Miami that will help raise awareness for Surfrider’s Rise Above Plastics.
- Doors open at 7PM and close at 11PM.
- Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
- Parking is available across the street and at various nearby garages.
